"I'm not gonna lie, we had quite a bit of trouble picking a song to cover. The only other cover song that is a staple of our live set is our version of Toto's "Africa". As much as marimba solos have directly influenced our sound, we wanted to do something a bit more honest and meaningful to how the band sounds and what we're about. Truth is, we all grew up on Green Day, and we can't say that about a lot of bands. It's fast, it's fun, it's major key, it’s cynical, and it mentions lighting shit on fire. All the key elements to any Junior Battles song."
